Bracewell & Giuliani boosts practice with revamped website
International law firm Bracewell & Giuliani, LLP, has revamped its website (www.bgllp.com). The new site will thrust the law firm's expertise in particular practice areas including energy, financial restructuring and bankruptcy, white-collar criminal defense, private investment funds, banks and financial institutions, and environmental strategies. For easy navigation, the site contains content organization tools, which facilitate visitors with easy access to information on the firm's attorneys and practices, recent information, other events, and RSS and blog feeds, among other features. Wendy Horn, director of marketing and client relations stated that the move to revamp the site was spurred by the need to "align the online brand identity with demonstrated expertise as well as enhance the site's functionality, ensuring an optimal experience for external visitors and clients."

Kenyan law wants diapered donkeys!
The town council of Limuru, Kenya passed a decree directing donkey owners to put nappies on their animals by July 16—to keep the town clean. However, after intense opposition from donkey owners, the ruling is now on hold. One of the donkey owners said, "If we have to put nappies on our donkeys, soon they will say our cows need them too." Another protester said that the donkeys could kick them badly if they were forced to put on nappies. Limuru's mayor, James Kuria, however seems adamant. He says, "We must come up with a way to make sure that the droppings are not a nuisance."
