These are jobs for lawyers with good people skills, not just legal skills. Iraq has its own laws, which are not like US laws. In addition, the Iraq legal field is rather unregulated: there is no bar exam, and precious few lawyers have had much legal schooling.
Chances are if you apply and get selected, you'll end up with some great stories and souvenirs. And for some lawyers, it can't be worse than Big Law, right?
Applicants should go to USAJOBS.com and search under "rule of law."
Good luck, if you want such a job! This probably fits under public interest law, and if you go, it will probably help remind you of why you went to law school.
Plus, with the job market the way it is right now, why not go? It's a great opportunity for people who aren't married yet!
