In Woodside, CA, Steve Jobs lost in a ruling that charges him to pay the lawyer fees of preservationist group, Uphold Our Heritage. Several years back, Jobs bought an old and historic home and promptly told the town residents he was going to bulldoze the thing down and build a new home. Uphold Our Heritage swiftly protested, won, and now there fees will be paid for by Mr. Jobs.

The WSJ Law Blog says the conspiracies ''affected millions of American consumers who use computers, cellphones and numerous other household electronics every day.'' LG Display, Sharp, and Chungwha are to pay fines of $585 million.
