Earlier this year, seven personal injury attorneys from Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen were named in 2009 Virginia's Super Lawyers by Law & Politics Magazine, a publication of Key Professional Media Inc. The Virginia Super Lawyers was established in 1991 and is a listing of lawyers who have ''attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.''
Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen is one of the oldest and largest law firms in Virginia and throughout United States. In 1910, George E. Allen, opened his first law firm in Lunenburg County, Virginia. After moving his office to Victoria, Virginia, Allen served as the town's mayor. In 1931, Allen took up residence and moved his firm to Richmond, Virginia and years later he welcomed his three sons to the law firm. To date, ten family members still remained involved with the firm including two of Allen's retired sons.
The firm employs over 21 attorneys and 80 support staff. It has offices spread across Central Virginia including Petersburg, Richmond, Mechanicsville, Short Pump, Fredericksburg, Garrisonville, Chesterfield and Charlottesville.
