Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a good week! Today at 4pm I pick up my take-home exam and I have 24 hours to complete it, so by 4pm tomorrow I am DONE with law school! YAY! Haha just have to survive the next day and a half and hopefully pass all my classes fingers crossed! Today's WIAW post comes from Monday, a day where I had a chiropractor appointment and then I volunteered in the afternoon. I thought it would only take an hour so I had a snack instead of lunch before (didn't have time to sit down to lunch) but it ended up taking 2.5 hours haha so my food from Monday is a bit all over the place and snacky, but that's what happens when you're busy I guess! If you're new to What I Ate Wednesday, head on over to Peas and Crayons to find out what it's all about and see the other participating bloggers!
Peas and Crayons
In the morning I had a cup of coffee and half a banana before heading to the gym to do my tabata style workout from Tina's Best Body Boot Camp. Sorry, no picture Too much mental work at that time of day. When I got back I was more than ready for breakfast. Can you take a wild guess what I had? wiaw1 CHOCOLATE PROTEIN OAT BRAN! Haha I do have to say I've occasionally been mixing it up with eggs and a sweet potato (okay, once) but I just love this stuff! After breakfast I got a little work done and then walked to my chiropractor's office. It's a mile away and there isn't a great way to get there by public transportation, but I actually really love the walk so I don't mind. Just have to be sure to leave early enough! After my appointment I wanted to finish my paper, so I went to David's Tea, which was just a block away, picked out a tea (Superberry - really liked it!) and sat and finished my paper. photo 3 By the time I'd finished I knew I needed to leave to volunteer in about 10 minutes (no time to go get lunch) so I snacked on some chopped up veggies and a Quest bar: wiaw3 Volunteering took way longer than I expected, but luckily the time flew by and before I knew it, it was almost 4pm! AH! I wanted to study at a huge Starbucks that was on the way home, so I got off the train there and on my way passed a Jimmy John's. On an impulse I went in and ordered a roast beef unwich where they wrap it in lettuce rather than putting it on bread. wiaw5 Um. I do NOT recommend this. It was like a snack. I actually looked up the nutritional facts when I realized I was still starving after eating it and it was 90 calories. Yum. So I had another Quest bar and a Caf Au Lait while getting some work done. photo 2 (9) wiaw2 After heading home I wasn't feeling a real dinner with all my snacks, so I had a sweet potato with ketchup and guacamole (more added afterwards): wiaw1 And then some greek yogurt (with vanilla and stevia mixed in), frozen berries in almond milk, and almond butter. I normally mix the berries in the yogurt, but for some reason felt like eating the yogurt on its own. Whatever. wiaw4 And there you have it!   Have you ever had a day where you have snacks rather than meals due to your schedule? Anyone else ever tried an unwich or something similar? What's your favorite coffee drink?
