Hey Everyone! I hope you're all having a good weekend! Sadly my Spring Break is coming to an end and today I'm on my way back to Chicago. I just hope all this SNOW won't affect my travels I won't even comment on the weather On Thursday afternoon I headed to the Garden of the Gods park to do some trail running. It's a free park where you can go and hike on any of the trails. It was pretty busy on Thursday since the high was 60! There are a ton of places to park, or you can just drive around the roads to see a lot of the sites. I had intended to just go for a walk but after seeing a couple other runners I started jogging and off I went! I got a little lost but went places I'd never run before and ended up covering 4.5 miles. It was SO. MUCH. FUN. Seriously. So if you're ever near Colorado Springs, these photos from my run are my attempt to convince you that you have to visit this park:

Gorgeous, right? That evening, my mom and I went to a restaurant called Marigold Caf & Bakery, another high recommendation of mine. I'd never been, and it doesn't look like much from the outside, but my dinner was delicious. I have not eaten anything that good in a long time. My mom and I both ordered the Red Snapper: image photo 2 (6) Now I'm no food critic and don't have great descriptive words, but it was so flavorful. I could have just eaten the dish with all vegetables and no snapper the sauce was that good. If you're ever in the area and looking for somewhere to dine, definitely check it out!   What's one of your favorite parks to visit? Have you ever been to Colorado Springs? What was the last amazing meal you had?
