Hey everyone! Happy weekend! First of all, I wanted to say thank you to all of you for your great comments on my post yesterday. It sounds like many of us of similar feelings and frustrations when it comes to mean comments on blogs. Now, onto today's topic - Coca Cola Freestyle Machines! Hahaha okay, I can hear it in your thoughts: um, Katie, soda?! Yea, I would have had the same reaction. I was recently contacted by Coca Cola Freestyle, asking me to check out their freestyle machines. I'd seen them around and was curious but never tried one before. At first I thought this was a bit odd me? Soda? I rarely drink it, it's more of a treat, so I decided to check out their website and see what it was all about. I was surprised to find that it isn't just soda in these machines, they also have sparkling water, flavored Dasani, and Powerade! While I was marathon training I drank a LOT of water, but I discovered about halfway through that I really needed to replenish with electrolytes. I'd get awful headaches and found that they were because I was over-hydrating! Powerade and Powerade Lite are perfect for getting those electrolytes you need after a workout or long run. Plus, I know some people aren't crazy like me and LOVE water, so their sparkling water and flavored Dasani options are great for those of you who need a little more incentive to hydrate.

I used their website to find a Coca Cola Freestyle machine near me, and was surprised to find quite a few! After some studying yesterday I headed to one to try it out. Did I hydrate with water? Well no. Haha, this was a treat for me so I decided to have some fun. photo 1 (18) photo 2 (16) ALL THE OPTIONS! Let's be honest, this isn't about hydration, it was fun. I had to take a picture of the Coke Zero for my mom, she loves this stuff: photo 4 (13) I ended up getting a mix of diet coke lime and diet coke cherry. Totally hit the spot! I also scared some of the other customers by taking so many photos of the soda machine I didn't realize until I was done that people were waiting behind me Oops. photo 5 (11) Oh well! I have a feeling I scare people a lot You can check out Coca Cola Freestyle on Facebook or Twitter! photo (8) **Edited to Add: My friend's boyfriend, John, wanted to make sure that you all are aware of the superiority of the ice in Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. I can vouch, it was really great ice.**   Have you ever used a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine?   What was your favorite soda growing up? I loved orange soda   Disclaimer: I was compensated in exchange for writing an honest article about my experience with the Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine. All views and opinions are 100% my own.
