Hey everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

I'm trying to follow my June Goal of making lunch 4 days a week by meal planning! I've made a bunch of quinoa and my plan is to use that as a base and come up with various things to mix in so I don't end up eating the same thing all week!

One interesting food item I made yesterday was an artichoke!

Lol super easy, I just boiled it! It took about 45 minutes, I just kept checking to see if it was ready, no real idea what I was doing. My mom made these at home all the time and they were one of my favorite things! She made them with a lemon butter sauce, but since I didn't have butter, I used dijon mustard! I mixed 1 T dijon mustard with the juice of one small lemon and it turned out great!

At work I share an office with an attorney. He's been taking some beginning French classes, and it made me miss French! I took French classes at school from 4th grade through 10th, but haven't taken it since. I remember a lot, but I thought it would be fun to brush up, so I started listening to a podcast called CoffeeBreak French. It's moving a little slow, but I'm enjoying it! So many phrases I had forgotten about!

Yesterday I posted about the gluten free tubmlr site. Well today I have a new one to share!

Janae on her post yesterday on Hungry Runner Girl linked to a tumbler website called Hey Runner Girl featuring photos of Ryan Gosling with fabulous captions about running. I definitely book-marked this one.

thanks, Megan Thode

I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing Sunday! A Bientot! (see you soon)
