The ideal candidate will focus on handling general liability matters, including case management, legal analysis, and client representation. Duties

• Manage a caseload of general liability matters, ensuring all deadlines and client expectations are met.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and team members to develop case strategies.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to provide updates and advice.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Massachusetts and in good standing.
• Experience handling general liability cases or civil litigation preferred.
• Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to case management.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
