The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all facets of personal injury cases, including negotiations, depositions, hearings, and trials. Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases from initial consultation through to trial, including case preparation and courtroom representation.
• Conduct thorough case reviews, including analysis of medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve fair compensation for clients.
• Manage depositions and oversee the discovery process, including witness preparation and documentation.
• Draft and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients at hearings and trials, presenting evidence and legal arguments effectively.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice throughout the case process.
• Handle client intake, develop case strategies, and customize legal approaches based on client needs.
• Collaborate with medical experts, investigators, and other professionals to build strong case arguments.
• Ensure meticulous management of case files, meeting all deadlines and legal requirements.
• Contribute to firm-wide initiatives, supporting team development and enhancing client outcomes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to practice law in Wisconsin.
• 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law or related litigation preferred.
• Ability to reliably commute to the office and travel locally to meet with clients as needed.
• Previous experience in a professional office environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills, with comfort in handling phone consultations and client interactions.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
• High level of professionalism and the ability to manage confidential matters with discretion.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin.
