Job Summary:
We are seeking a Family Law Associate with a minimum of two to five years of experience to join our well-established litigation firm. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of family law cases and grow within the firm. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, superior legal research and drafting abilities, and a dedication to providing excellent client service.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, prioritize, and facilitate daily workflow for self, paralegals, and support staff throughout each case
- Manage appointments and hearings to ensure compliance with deadlines and time-sensitive tasks
- Develop and implement case strategy and litigation plans to support client's desired outcome
- Prepare for hearings, trials, conferences, depositions, and mediations on behalf of clients
- Actively support firm growth through networking and word-of-mouth referrals
- Work towards timely resolution of cases while minimizing conflict
- Be open to feedback and willing to learn from mentors
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of family law experience
- Current member of the State Bar of Texas
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Superior legal research and drafting abilities
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced litigation environment
- Interest in pursuing and generating new business
