Duties:

• Represent clients in cases involving nursing home and assisted living facility abuse, neglect, and malpractice.
• Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence and build strong cases.
• Advise clients on legal rights and options regarding nursing home and assisted living facility issues.
• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration proceedings.
• Appear in court to argue motions and represent clients in trials.
• Collaborate with medical experts and other professionals to support case development.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations about elder care and healthcare facilities.
• Provide legal guidance on compliance with state and federal regulations affecting nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
• Educate clients and the community about legal rights and protections for elderly residents.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar and in good standing.
• Experience in elder law, healthcare law, or related fields.
• Proven record of handling cases involving nursing home or assisted living facility issues.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

Education:
