This role involves handling all stages of litigation, from discovery to trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of litigation experience, superior written and verbal communication skills, and strong academic credentials. Location:

Duties:

• Manage all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, prosecution, and trial preparation
• Draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, and pleadings
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies
• Provide high-level legal counsel to clients
• Manage and mentor junior attorneys and staff, as needed
• Develop and maintain client relationships to grow a book of business

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• A portable book of business is strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active State Bar License (New York)

Skills:

• Expertise in litigation processes and strategies
• Strong legal research and writing skills

• Ability to manage complex cases independently
