Duties:

• Represent clients in immigration court and during administrative proceedings
• Prepare and file various immigration petitions and applications
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as briefs, motions, and pleadings
• Provide legal advice and counseling to clients on immigration matters
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and answer questions
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on case strategies and office initiatives
• Stay current with changes in immigration law and policy
• Attend and participate in community outreach and educational events

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing immigration law
• Proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken
• Active member in good standing of the state bar
• Strong understanding of . immigration laws and procedures
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse populations
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina
