Lateral Associate – Real Estate and Renewable Energy Project Development
The candidate will represent project developers and project sponsors in the drafting/negotiation of renewable energy leases, easements, and other real property agreements; infrastructure and private equity funds in M&A transactions involving energy and infrastructure assets and projects; buyers and sellers in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures. Conduct real estate and title due diligence with respect to renewable energy projects. Negotiate representations and warranties relating to real estate matters in renewable energy M&A and project financing documentation. Must have 4-7 years of relevant experience; an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong interest in growing renewable energy practice; an excellent academic record and strong writing and analysis skills. Should have a meaningful experience with negotiating renewable energy lease and easements agreements and transacting on renewable energy projects involving wind and solar power.
