A law firm in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Veterans Attorney to handle all aspects of Veterans Disability claims. The ideal candidate will manage client interactions, prepare cases, and represent clients at administrative hearings. The role requires excellent writing and communication skills. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage Veterans Disability claims, including the preparation and filing of claims.
• Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to gather relevant information and documentation.
• Prepare and review legal documents related to Veterans Disability cases.
• Represent clients at administrative hearings and appeal proceedings.
• Provide clients with clear, informed advice and updates on their cases.
• Collaborate with medical experts and other professionals to strengthen cases.
• Stay updated on changes in Veterans Disability law and regulations.
• Ensure all case documentation and correspondence is accurate and timely.
• Develop and implement effective strategies for case preparation and representation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience handling Veterans Disability claims.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and administrative bodies.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Admission to the Bar is preferred.

Education:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic record with evidence of academic excellence.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar is preferred.
