Long established law firm practicing debt collection law based in RI and also practicing in CT and MA is seeking an attorney to assist and continue to develop its debt collection law practice.  Importantly, our firm does not provide services to national clients but focuses on local creditor clients.  licensure in either CT, MA or RI required. Preference will be given to those who are licensed two or more of these states.  Position will include brief writing, legal research, drafting of motions and affidavits.    Some courtroom experience including bench trials and motion hearings is desired but not required.  This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney just beginning to practice or an established attorney that desires a career change away from billable hours but still has a desire to be in a courtroom.  This position can also offer an opportunity to the right person to utilize and develop computer systems management and marketing skills in tandem with practicing law.  Great support staff and work environment.  We value a strong work/life balance.  Competitive benefit package.
