A law firm located in Boca Raton is seeking a Patent Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in drafting patent applications. The ideal candidate must be eligible to be registered to practice before the . Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Bilingual proficiency is preferred, and Federal Court experience is a plus.

Duties:

• Draft patent applications and prosecute patents before the USPTO.
• Conduct patentability searches and provide opinions on patentability.
• Assist clients in patent portfolio management and strategy.
• Advise clients on intellectual property matters, including patent infringement and validity.
• Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and scientists to understand inventions and technologies.
• Provide legal counsel on licensing agreements, technology transfers, and IP litigation.
• Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and investments involving intellectual property.
• Stay updated on changes in patent laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Eligible to be registered to practice before the . Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Bilingual proficiency preferred.
• Federal Court experience is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience with drafting patent applications preferred.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Bar in the state of practice.
