Law firm **Members Only,** is currently seeking a highly experienced Government Procurement Partner with a minimum of 10 years of experience and a book of at least $400k in portable business. This position is open to candidates in any of our offices located in Wisconsin, Illinois, Utah, Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, California, and Nebraska.
As a Government Procurement Partner at Michael Best, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including emerging and established businesses, trade associations, nonprofits, and high-net-worth individuals. Our firm has a long history of providing exceptional legal services and business acumen, and we are continuously evolving to meet our clients' changing needs and expectations.
Job Requirements:
- . from an ABA accredited law school
- Excellent academic credentials
- 10+ years of experience in government procurement and commercial contracting
- Valid license to practice law in the jurisdiction in which this position will be located
Responsibilities:
- Guide businesses through the government procurement process
- Provide tactical and strategic advice for navigating statutory and regulatory challenges
- Assist with complex operations and issues related to federal, state, and municipal contracts
- Review and negotiate procurement contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, grant proposals, etc.

- Strong business development skills
- Willingness and ability to lead and grow the practice
- Adaptability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse group of clients and colleagues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with tact and discretion
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions and initiate actions/solutions
