Family Law Paralegal Job Description

'A family law paralegal is someone who works on family law matters under the supervision of licensed attorneys in a law-related setting. Because they are not licensed attorneys, family law paralegals do not practice law, but they help in many aspects of family law matters, including those involving divorce, alimony, paternity, child custody, domestic violence, and property division upon divorce. A family law paralegal is also sometimes called a family law legal assistant.

Must be Certified Paralegal. 3-4 years of law firm experience, specifically in family law required. Possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
