'An intellectual property paralegal is someone who works on intellectual property law matters under the supervision of licensed attorneys. Because they are not licensed attorneys, intellectual property paralegals (also known as intellectual property legal assistants) do not practice law, but they help in many aspects of intellectual property matters, including those involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property litigation. Intellectual property lawyers are busy professionals and they rely on paralegals to assist them as much as possible in helping get the work done within the bounds of legal and ethical rules.

Intellectual Property Paralegal

The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree. Should have trademark prosecution and litigation experience. Handle foreign and domestic prosecution work, prepare and file applications and docket trademark dates and deadlines.

Intellectual Property Paralegal

The candidate will be organizing and maintaining electronic and hard copy files, court documents, and creating binders and bound volumes as requested. Must have BS or BA degree and a paralegal certificate. Should have 4+ years of experience. Must have management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft office software including Excel and PowerPoint and proficiency in legal software used in a litigation practice including Concordance, Prolaw, Relativity or iManage is a plus.

Intellectual Property Paralegal

The candidate will be expected to work with docketing and with attorneys to manage dockets, prepare and file patent documents with the USPTO, prepare correspondence and billing to clients related to filings and upcoming deadlines, coordinate with clients/licensees and inventors for document signatures and correspond with foreign associates. Should have knowledge of both the patent and trademark processes associated with these areas of the law. Must have 4+ years of on-point Patent/Trademark experience.

Intellectual Property Paralegal and Docket Administrator

The candidate should have strong experience with Patent Prosecution docketing.

Patent and Intellectual Property Paralegal

The candidate should have a background in intellectual property law including docketing and filing U.S. and international patents and trademarks. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate attention to detail.
