Growing regulation, special education needs, student rights issues, and school governance requirements are driving significant expansion in education law practices nationwide.
If you have experience in education law matters, including:
Advising school districts or educational institutions
Special education (IDEA), Section 504, or ADA compliance
Student rights, discipline, or Title IX-related issues
Public governance and Brown Act/Open Meetings compliance
Labor and employment issues in school environments
Charter school representation
Administrative hearings, mediations, and due process matters

Advise K–12 districts, charter schools, or higher education institutions on compliance and governance.
Handle special education, IDEA, Section 504, and ADA-related matters.
Represent institutions in student discipline, rights disputes, and administrative proceedings.
Assist with labor and employment issues unique to school settings.
Draft and review board policies, governance documents, and education-related regulations.
Participate in hearings, mediations, investigations, and due process proceedings.
1–10+ years of education law or public agency experience.
Background in special education, administrative law, or school district advisory work.
Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, ADA, and governance requirements.
Strong communication and advisory skills.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in at least one . jurisdiction.
Clear and confident communication with institutional clients.
Strong advisory and regulatory interpretation abilities.
Ability to manage sensitive student, parent, and district matters.
Organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.
Comfortable navigating administrative processes and hearings.
