Duties

  • Represent municipalities, school districts, and public agencies in civil litigation.

  • Handle Section 1983, civil rights defense, and government immunity matters.

  • Litigate land use, zoning, and planning disputes.

  • Assist with eminent domain proceedings and inverse condemnation claims.

  • Manage procurement, public contract, and bid protest disputes.

  • Conduct administrative hearings, participate in writ proceedings, and support appellate work.

  • Work closely with public officials, agency staff, and in-house counsel.

Requirements

  • 1–10+ years of litigation experience, ideally with public agency or municipal matters.

  • Familiarity with Section 1983, land use disputes, or government tort liability.

  • Strong writing skills and the ability to handle complex motion practice.

  • Comfortable working with government clients and public-sector processes.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the bar in at least one . jurisdiction.
