Palm Desert office of a **Members Only.** Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with experience. The candidate will attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice. Will organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff. Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action. Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings. Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently. Should preferably have some courtroom experience and strong legal research and writing skills. Must have passed the Bar exam and possess a current State of California Bar Card. Experience in propounding and responding to all forms of discovery is required.
