Founded in 2002, LRV Notaires is the result of a merger between two renowned studies of notaries in the Laurentides region. The study Leonardo, Ruel and Associates, established in 1986, brought together a group of precursors in the field of notarial practice. Their focus on specialization and working with jurisdictions set them apart from the rest. On the other hand, the notaries associates Venne study, founded in 1978, gained recognition for their legal competence as general notaries and their active involvement in the community.

By combining the expertise and talents of these two well-established studies, LRV Notaires became one of the most important notaries on the north shore of Montreal. As a member of the largest network of notaries in Quebec, SME-Inter Notaries, and a partner of the Quebec Law Network, LRV Notaires has access to a vast pool of resources and knowledge. This allows them to better serve their clients and stay at the forefront of the legal industry.

At LRV Notaires, the tradition of excellence in notarial practice is deeply ingrained in the firm's culture. The study proudly carries on the legacy of older Laurentian notaries, such as Gustave Leonard, John Paul Leonard, George Leonard, Albert Ménard, and Yves Leonard. These notaries have paved the way for the firm's success and continue to inspire the current generation of attorneys and staff.
