What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
5.Former Employee, more than 1 yearFormer Legal Assistant and Legal InternLegal Assistant/Paralegal in Boston, MARecommendProsI worked at Coughlin Betke prior to attending law school as a paralegal, and while in law school as a summer intern after my second year. My experiences at the firm kept me on my path to become a lawyer because the attorneys there were professional, friendly, and excellent teachers. Knowing I was planning on law school/ in law school, they took many opportunities to teach me skills and concepts that have absolutely helped me both in school and now in my legal career. I always felt that the energy in the office was positive and no matter what role you played there- partner, associate, paralegal- the other employees respected and appreciated you as part of the team. If I hadn't moved away, I'd be back!ConsIf you are dead set on 'big firm' life and all that goes with it, then this firm may not be for you. Personally that is not a con for me, but it is for some.
