McMurray Henriks LLP has a fantastic human resources and leadership team, and my experiences with the firm have been overwhelmingly positive.
Our interactions with Randy McMurray have consistently been positive - they are professional, asked great questions and were quick to follow up.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
5.Current Employee, more than 8 yearsGreat Mentoring of Associates (Learn Independence in a Relatively Short Time)Associate RecommendProsIn a very short period of time, I've worked on projects (motions for summary judgment, appeals, etc.) that I've heard attorneys at other, larger firms don't get to touch for years. This is a very plaintiff-focused firm, with a 'David vs. Goliath' mentality that I love. If your passionate about plaintiff/consumer-focused work, and not scared to jump into the 'deep-end' of civil litigation, apply! There is a great deal of experience between the partners, Yana and Randy, and you will work closely with them on assignments. The partners are intent on teaching associates to be comfortable working up a case independently from retainer through trial - it's a 'teach them to fish' approach that I'm really grateful for.ConsThe non-lawyer staff here are excellent and work very closely with the lawyers. However, if you're not willing to learn how to be independent in every aspect of working up a case (including filing, legal research, discovery, etc.), it may be difficult for you.
