Balance life and work so one doesn't take priority over the other. It will be difficult, but the joyous experience to be had at this firm is second to none."

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
A high performing firm that by all accounts tackles the greatest of workloads. There is a great sense of teamwork here with each individual working together as one to help each other. The office spaces are large and while the workload is heavy, it doesn't feel overwhelming as your team is there to help. It's a great place to work and you develop pride in every assignment you do.

What did you not like about this institution?
Unfortunately, it is easy to get lost within the workload. You're constantly busy and having to juggle life activities as well as work. However, it doesn't detract much as a sense of satisfaction is garnered with every task you take on.

Edelson PC has gone farther and further to protect the interest of their clients. When big business tries to change the law with their lobbyists to line their pockets, Edelson PC made sure clients are well protected

Since day 1, I've always felt like I can go to any associate, partner, managing partner, or even Jay (the CEO) for help or guidance on a difficult project or issue. And there is truly no ceiling on your growth at the firm. I started here as a law clerk, then a summer associate, then a staff attorney, and now a more 'senior' associate. Not only do your skills and knowledge as an attorney develop exponentially here, your salary and bonus can too.... But far and away the best part about the firm is the people. There's nothing better than being surrounded by genuine, smart, and kind co-workers (who respect and understand the value of your vacation time). Oh, and catered lunch everyday is pretty great, too.ConsThe work is demanding and you're expected to bill a lot of hours, but as long as you aren't missing any deadlines, calls, or hearings, you have pretty much complete autonomy to work on your own schedule.
