Be honest. Stop pushing your religious view on the staff. Stop the office manager from terrorizing employees. Pay what you say you are paying. Treat the staff with respect.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
This firm pushes their religious beliefs on their employees. They have bible study before all firm meetings. They say it is voluntary but you feel like you have to attend. It's very weird. They boast and advertise to the public that they are "Christian Lawyers" but treat their staff like dirt.

What did you not like about this institution?
The "office manager" is extremely passive aggressive and will steal your intellectual property and try to pass it off as her own. The firm also shorts the hours on your checks and fails to pay what they say they will.

Keep hiring good people. Maybe hire more paralegals? Keep letting the staff wear jeans on Fridays - great for morale.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
I found this to be a fun place to work - they took a chance on hiring me, someone with no legal experience, but they sure taught me so much about the legal field and I am so glad I decided to accept this job and work here for as long as I did. I learned a lot about myself and the law specialities I like and do not like. Staff keeps up a positive attitude and is very approachable.

What did you not like about this institution?
My only criticism is I wish I could've worked on more business and construction cases. However, I learned a ton by working on personal injury and wrongful death cases, and wouldn't trade in that experience. Investigating on these cases was also enjoyable.

Everyone is fine to work with - no need to avoid anyone. I've had good experiences working with all staff.

How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
The people! The clients! Working on mechanic's liens. And - the fact that I could wear jeans on Fridays :)
