In 1991, George Kelesis became a partner at the esteemed law firm of Gentile, Porter, & Kelesis, and the following year, Marc Cook joined the firm as an associate. The trio, along with Supreme Court Justice Michael Cherry, reunited on January 1, 1993, forming the law firm of Cherry, Bailus & Kelesis.
In 1997, George Kelesis transitioned into an in-house corporate counsel role, and Mark Bailus soon followed suit. However, they continued to maintain an of-counsel status at the law firm of Cook & Kelesis until the firm was officially established in August 2005.
