Jonathan Howell knew he wanted to help injured people after interning at a major injury law firm in Los Angeles.
Before that, he had worked as a computer programmer and intended to go to law school to work on legal/tech issues.
But that plan changed after he helped refinery workers injured by a large explosion. He would talk to their families about how the injuries affected the workers. The refinery had high-end lawyers doing everything they could to avoid responsibility. Jonathan felt a real sense of accomplishment when the case was resolved for the workers.
After that, Jonathan knew his calling was to help injured people or families that lost a loved one.

Prior to forming Howell LLP, Jonathan joined a Century City firm founded by two ABOTA members. There, he handled injury cases through all stages of litigation including trial.
He has obtained multiple verdicts and settlements in excess of $1,000,000.
He was nominated as a Consumer Attorney Association of Los Angeles “Rising Star” after successfully winning 3 difficult trials back to back.

Jonathan has represented individuals against the largest corporations, including international hotel chains, airlines, and government entities from the City of Los Angeles to the United States of America.
