Kiel Berry is the founder of Berry PLLC and grew up in Cache Valley. After graduating from Utah State University, he went to law school at the University of Arizona, graduating in the top 5% of his class. Kiel spent several years in Phoenix before returning to the valley with his wife Sheri and their five children.
Kiel’s years of experience give him a unique perspective on the construction and real-estate industry. As an attorney, he has represented a wide variety of clients – general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, developers, owners, buyers, sellers, and insurance companies – in transactions and in disputes. He has appeared in mediations, arbitrations, trial, and appeals, including arguing before the Arizona Supreme Court.
During a break from private law practice, Kiel worked for several years as a construction contracts and claims manager for a Fortune 500 company. While there he developed procurement strategies and drafted and negotiated contracts for billion-dollar construction projects on three continents.
