Ian S. Seitel, P.A. is a graduate of the University of Miami Law School. He has been in practice for over 35 years. Counselor Seitel served as an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County from 1980 to 1985. As a prosecutor he tried countless numbers of criminal cases while serving in the organized crime division. During this time, he was responsible for a large number of drug and organized crime convictions.
As a defense attorney, he has handled virtually every type of criminal case, from murder in the first degree, to DUI. As a former prosecutor, he has court experience that many family law attorneys do not have. He’s handled divorce cases involving alimony, child support, timesharing, visitation and modifications thereof. Mr. Seitel’s personal injury practice specializes in auto accidents and slip and fall cases.
He is a past president of the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and currently serves on the board of directors for the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also a former chair of the Broward County Grievance Committee, an arm of the Florida Bar that investigates complaints filed against attorneys.
