What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
On the litigation side: Terrific work. Complex interesting cases with large amounts in controversy, demanding deep exploration of the issues and top shelf lawyering. Terrific training ground to develop one's analytical abilities, strategic thinking, and writing skills. Firm is full of good people and has a great work environment. Bottom line: great work with great people.
The firm has a terrific transactional group as well, which is devoted to a few industries (including energy). Occasionally, attorneys from the two groups work on the same matter. As with the litigation side, every attorney on the transactional side is top shelf. They are a lot of fun to work with.
