Segar & Sciortino PLLC is a mid-size law firm that has served the injured and disabled in Western New York for over 30 years. The firm represents clients in Workers' Compensation, Social Security Disability and Personal Injury cases. Attorneys are knowledgeable in each practice area and look at each case from every angle to ensure the client is getting all the benefits they deserve.
Segar & Sciortino is currently hiring one Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with 0 - 3 years’ experience. The candidate must be admitted into the New York State Bar.
Individuals should be highly organized self-starters with exceptional communication (written and verbal) and listening skills. Candidates will be representing clients in Rochester, Syracuse, Buffalo and other surrounding areas.
Candidates should also have knowledge of professional ethics principles and legal procedural rules. Individuals should possess the ability to conduct legal research, build relationships with clients and make decisions that are in the best interest of their client. Candidates must also be willing to cover hearings, phone conferences and depositions for other attorneys within the firm.
Previous experience in personal injury and/or workers' compensation and the ability to speak Spanish fluently is preferred but not required.
The candidate will be required to work in the office Monday through Friday.
