With more than 23 years of experience in trial law in North Carolina, I have successfully defended cases for homicide, attempted murder, rape, driving while impaired and all other crimes. After graduating with honors from North Carolina State University, I attended and graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law. I served for three years as an Assistant District Attorney in Wake County, North Carolina where I had the opportunity to train some of North Carolina’s best criminal lawyers who served as interns for the District Attorney at the time. I have since represented thousands of clients in various cases throughout North Carolina. I have tried more than 3,000 bench trials and more than 150 jury trials. I have taught various Continuing Legal Education classes on criminal matters to other lawyers.
