Cherie N. Harris, Esq.

Cherie N. Harris is a native of Newport News, Virginia, and at a very young age, Cherie knew she wanted to practice law. With a passion for justice and a desire to make a difference, she has always been committed to helping those in need. Cherie’s practice primarily focuses on family law (custody, divorce, and support matters), criminal law, civil litigation, and simple wills & estate matters. Cherie also serves as a Guardian ad Litem, advocating for the best interest of children in abuse and neglect matters, and custody disputes.

Although Cherie is originally from Virginia, after law school, she practiced in Maryland for a couple of years, working in a mid-size firm. Upon returning home to Virginia, she strengthened her litigation skills by volunteering at the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office and working as an associate in a small firm, before starting her own practice.

Cherie’s compassionate nature, commitment to excellence, and her desire to help others, allows her to be a fierce advocate for her clients.
