Founded on January 16, 1946, Inder Lynch Lawyers has a rich history and a reputation for excellence in legal practice. The firm's story began when Cliff Amies established his own legal practice in Papakura. Recognizing the town's potential for growth, Cliff saw an opportunity to serve the community's legal needs. In 1948, he invited Norman Inder, a solicitor with ties to Papakura, to join him. This partnership marked the beginning of a new era for the firm, which was then known as "Amies & Inder."
Over the years, Inder Lynch Lawyers has weathered various changes and challenges, always emerging stronger and more resilient. In 1951, Cliff retired due to ill health but continued to contribute to the firm on a part-time basis. The firm's name changed to "Inder & Lynch" in 1955 when Brian Lynch, a staff solicitor, became a partner. This partnership solidified the firm's commitment to providing comprehensive legal services to its clients.
One of the firm's defining moments came in the 1950s when Marjorie Phillips joined as a legal secretary. Marjorie's expertise and dedication have been invaluable to the firm, and she now holds the title of Assistant Practice Manager. With her wealth of knowledge about the firm's clients, the law, and office operations, Marjorie plays a vital role in ensuring the firm's success.
