What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
I hope the firm can start prioritizing which areas of the law it wants to focus more on because sometimes the quality of work suffers from the workload.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
I really love the people I work with at the firm. Everybody is always willing to help out regardless of how busy it gets. The pay is good. And the work environment is great because the firm really makes sure associates feel at home. I love some of the freedom I get when it comes to taking the initiative on some cases.
What did you not like about this institution?
Some of the things that I hope to get better at the firm are the amount of work the firm decides to take on. While associates are allowed to make decision on their own when it comes to some smaller cases, there is a lot of micro managing done by the superiors when it comes to the bigger cases. Some associates don't have a problem with the long hours. And while I do my best to be as helpful as I can, I do get overwhelmed sometimes by the amount of work.
