What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Make sure that people are coming here are very into this area of law. It might make it easier to get bonuses or promoted at work. Otherwise, it is really hard to tell how bad or how good you are doing.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
This is a state wide practice that covers the state of Nevada. They have focus on estate and trust, and handle some of the largest ones in the country. It can be very rewarding work and you get to have high end families as clients. It is very fact specific and you really get to know the clients well.
What did you not like about this institution?
It can be hard to get promoted and you really must enjoy estate and trust law. You also need a good tax background, which can eliminate many candidates. It also is very client intensive and you will need good communication and social skills to speak with clients and family members about their case.

What did you not like about this institution?
I was a client of Solomon Dwiggins & Freer, Ltd for five years, represented by Mark Solomon in IRS trust and related issues. Despite paying over $100,000 in fees, I was unable to find a resolution to my issues and felt that the firm lacked understanding of the emotional toll it was taking on my life. I ultimately chose to part ways with the firm and successfully represented myself in resolving the case in November 2018.
