The firm should continue to focus on making the atmosphere full of enthusiasm. Some of the leaders that are used to only emailing should consider approaching a different line of communication to reach their workers.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The law firm has created a space for the staff to feel enthusiastic while working. The leadership of the law firm does a great job of staying in touch with its workers.

What did you not like about this institution?
The law firm makes it difficult to commute if you do not have your own transportation. Some of the leaders of the firm use the method of email to communicate.

Keep more cases in-house instead of referring them out

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The management of the firm (Charen and John) are extremely considerate of employees concerns. The work is not robotic or mechanical. Everything we do, we are required to understand and if we don't John speaks to us about the process so we learn it. Such a thoughtful and good hearted person

What did you not like about this institution?
The email reports that are required before you start assignments

How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
I like that the Firm doesn't advertise or take on a ton of cases. My last firm did that and it was such mechanical work and so much that I couldn't get home to see my boyfriend at a reasonable hour

Provide better training on new computer systems

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
John encourages legal research so that the team is presenting good papers to Courts. Traditional legal practice. Holds the system and judges in high regard.

What did you not like about this institution?
Challenging work. Complicated legal issues that leave me frustrated at times.

How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
John is an excellent mentor. He expects you to take the law seriously and as a former schoolteacher myself I find him and Charen to be very patient and respectful
